Project Description
Dusty Groove is a documentary by acclaimed filmmaker Danielle Beverly. It follows the journey of records, from a Chicago record store to buyers' homes and the universal love, loss and life transitions that ties us all together.
The Need: The Dusty Groove team needed a pitch deck and press release in order to pursue grants and screening opportunities. They also wanted to make their media inclusive and accessible with an audio description script and voice-over for the visually impaired.
The Solution: We designed a pitch deck that captured the heart of the film and told its own special story with a combination of text and graphics. The deck successfully secured major grants.
As for the AD script, I wrote the voice-over narration alongside watching the film, keeping the copy concise, yet vivid and immersive.
