Project Description
Rock CF is a Detroit nonprofit that hosts annual runs and fundraiser events, along with offering programs and resources for those with Cystic Fibrosis.
The Need: Rock CF wanted to generate press and get record attendees for their special 10-Year Anniversary Half-Marathon Event.
The Solution: I crafted a compelling press release, media alert and news article, and pitched it to news outlets and sports publications. We received ample interest; however, Covid-19 hit and the race had to shift to a smaller, virtual event. We pivoted strategy, creating a social media video that generated increased attention for the virtual race.
